I need to replace the freehub. The wheel has cartridge bearings, I have removed the locknut from the non drive side, but the drive side is below the lip of the free hub, so cant get a cone spanner on it – how do I get it off?

    Cheers

depends on the hub, most with cartridge bearings involve a hammer at some point.

So a healthy blow to the non drive side to push the drive side out?

until we know what hub i am not going to say hit it. just be aware that hitting isn’t unusual but not always necessary.

Just checked them – they are unmarked on a set of Ritchey wheels.
