Doing a full service on my mono minis. Have stripped down front lever and caliper. Bore cap is off and outboard piston is out. I can see the inboard piston but can’t get it to come out. Is there a way of removing it without rebuilding and pressurising everything else?

not without drilling it and hooking it out. if you have a compressor you can try blocking off all the holes and blowing the piston out

Use a pump to blow it out via the bleed port. They pop out a treat

No compressor at home and I’m re-suing the pistons. Been trying to ease it out but there’s bugger all purchase / leverage. Might have to rebuild everything else and hold the other piston to force this one out.

If I try a track pump, presumably I need to pop the other piston back in and jam it to force the pressure behind the inboard one?
