    Trying to seat a tubeless tyre on a crossmax rim. Can’t quite get the air in fast enough with my rubbish pump, so decided to take the core out.

    Now the valve stem is completely smooth on the outside. How the hell do I get a pump onto it?

    Use one of the ones that has a locking lever rather than one that threads on.
