That/\ pretty much, based on the last round of redundancies here (a year ago), id be on for a years salary if I was for the chop. ( plus what ever I got coming back as a contractor, as seemed to happen) I’d bite their arm off, it’s all that’s keeping me here at the moment

Decision making, November ish….
Individual letters of T&C’s, dates etc etc after xmas (deep joy), for the new year and January
Jan – March end 3 months notice then out of the door before April
New tax year in April 2018 and a clean financial slate for businesses

Unless the financial year id end of Dec when timings are adjusted accordingly.
