After a set of forks for my soul, currently have some Fox talas rlc which are not the best. I want a basic fork that performs reasonably well and is reliable, came across these recons but after a google I can’t find hardly any info on them? Are they any good or best to be avoided. what’s a reasonable price to pay? They look mint in the outside

Also think I’m right in saying standard these work come with a medium spring. What weight does that equate too. I’m 13stone

Pretty basic damping wise, worse than Fox RLC open bath damper IMO.
Spring system may feel better than the Talas system.
    Weight wise will be heavier.
Reliability service schedules will be a bit longer, but any fork will feel rubbish if not maintained.
You’ll be border line between medium & firm depending on how/where you ride and bike setup, will come with medium as standard so try that and see first.

Thanks for the reply loco. Sound like a bit of a step backward damping wise. Any forks you would recommend to fit my needs?

I have no pressure in my ifp. Fox no longer sell the tool, any idea how to inflate?
