Having threatened to take a young lady to dinner, albeit with little presence of forth thought, im currently in the quandary as to how to fulfil this promise.

The young lady in question is vegan and as such im looking for something a little more exciting than the local chinese/indian/thai etc that will be the only option really for persuading to cater for vegan diets. Only place I know of really is Wagamama's in B'ham which is vegan friendly.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Know a few on the south coast, but that's a bit of a trek and i'll probably be hungry again by the time i get home.

I could theoretically cook myself – but a restaurant is preferably as then I can get the blame…

    ..as much.

All look like a good start 🙂

Think both Indian / Asian cuisine is a winner to be fair.

Have you tried any of the above?

indian food generally uses butter ghee and chinese generally use egg noodles …you seem a perfect match so far.

As above, the Warehouse Cafe in Digbeth is good…
