    Hi

I'm off to Cornwall in July and hoping to get some walking / outside time with my daughter and wife. As it's as likley to be cold and windy as warm, I'm interested to hear recommendations for outdoor clothing for a 2 year old.

Something shower and wind proof would be good, jacket / trousers or an all in one.

    Regatta rain suit:

that, and a pair of wellies is all you need on top of their normal clothes to keep them dry and out of any biting wind…even in the snow with a jumper on (we also have a snow suit as well):

togz. We put ours in dungarees and a jacket. We though it would be a bt more versatile than the one pieces they had iniitally. Dungarees by themselves can be useful if they're somewhere they're going to get really dirty, as well, not just as rain outerwear.

check out http://www.littletrekkers.co.uk/ great folks to deal with and the clothes are ace. Spotty otter winter down jackets are brilliant and kept my son nice and toasty all winter when out walking/sledging/causing mayhem 😀

Trespass do decent and reasonably priced stuff for that age. I've bought a lot of stuff for my girls (3 and 6) from there

And as its your daughter, you'll find the designs are pink, flowery and funky enough to meet with her approval 😀

HUGE recommendation for Bush Baby – we are out and about all the time and their kit is both top quality and good VFM – our little 20 month old boy has been in their kit since he was 3 months old.

They sell loads of the kit in Penrose Outdoors in Truro – hopefully you won't need it too much in July!

Decathlon are good for outdoor kiddie wear. It's cheap and cheerful 'cos let's face it they soon grow out of stuff.

Another shout for Decathlon, can't be beat for value – my little girl has inherited loads of stuff from friends daughters and it's still going strong. The boots and tough trainers are great, my lad's lived in them for several years now.

We are, rather sadly, becoming Swiss Family Quecho this summer…..

Little Trekkers site recommendation here as well.

My youngest has a nice lined Spotty Otter coat. Before that it was Regatta rainsuits.

    Decathlon +1.

Good for at least 2 hand downs, despite being cheap to buy.
