Yeah, like what I’ve heard of the first tune on that playlist. Maybe a bit too pop, I was after some driving beats for some mtb filming. This being the original of the style I’m loosely looking for…

Always thought these would work well in a bike vid for that ‘driving’ style of segment.

Swervedriver, That’s the pace I’m after.

Who does the guy who used to be lead singer for Wolfmother sing for now. His voice is mint.

Jesus and Mary Chain = awesome, Honey’s Dead album still sounds good.

Edit] Oh, and seeing Metric up there as an example is a fine thing indeed. One of my absolute favourite bands, and the devine Miss Hayes is a joy to watch up close.

I’m liking The Joy Formidable Countzero, I think this was the tune they played through a lot of the Ulster GP programme last night, which I was going to look for today:)

I think someone should remix Roisin Murphy’s songs with a simpler but similar paced ‘beat’

    Thanks everyone

The Joy Formidable are a knock-out live, Ritzy is a fantastic singer/guitarist and great performer. First time I saw them was supporting Howling Bells. I can recommend Sons And Daughters and Blood Red Shoes, too. BRS make an unholy racket for a petite litte girl with a guitar and a guy on drums. But then, she stands in front of an amp/cab stack as tall as I am.
