Interested in war movies, adventure and sci fi stuff. Just finished the Lord of the rings (again)

Tempted to try out a game of thrones boxed Next

I’ve pretty much not watched any tv or been to the cinema for 5 or so years, only things I’ve watched recent?y are homeland, walking dead and sopranos.

If you like sci fi stuff the relatively recent Battlestar Galactica 2004-2008ish was pretty good, much darker/grittier than the cheesy 1970’s version.

Generation Kill, short 3 part story. Not much action but the dialog is brilliant.

Firefly.

Farscape.

BSG.

Babylon 5.

Non sci-fi,

Breaking Bad.

Person of Interest.

The Blacklist.

Twin Peaks. Will keep you busy for a while!

American House of Cards series 1 and 2.

How long are you turbo sessions? For a steady 45 minutes I find an episode of Pointless is spot on.

Sessions are typically 40 – 60 mins on the rollers, but I do want to build up to the odd longer movie length session. Thanks for the suggestions so far

And if you haven’t seen it yet, Band of Brothers, possibly the best TV series ever made.

24 was ideal turbo fodder. For a longer sesh Rocky films are good.
