    Commuting in on my cross bike and currently using Ultragatorskins which are fine for the road but I want to use the bridleways etc, what tyres to use. Need to be fairly puncture resistant with a decent bit of tread on them

    Specialized Houffalize have a bit of tread and can be pumped up well ‘ard.

    scwalbe landcruisers.
    they will weigh as much as the rest of the bike put together, but they roll fast and never puncture.

    You just missed WTB Allterrainasaurus’s on Wiggle for 4 quid.

    I got a pair (when they were 6 quid) and I’m quite pleased, a fair balance between road-rolling with some off-road grip. Try to see if anyone else is discounting them?

    I had some Specialized Houffalize but they punctured almost every single ride. THrew them away in the end.
