    Need some new shimano fitment ones for an 8spd cassette. I'm guessing a standard three cross 36 is best? Something middle of the road.

    Just take your old race wheels retire them from the road and hey presto you have some CX wheels. Currently some mavic Ksyrium elites.

    What I am trying to say is that most wheels will do from expensive carbon rims to mavic aksiums and everything inbetween.

    Thanks. Was just looking for some specific input as I guess some are better than others. Would radial fronts be ok?
