  • recommend me an online tailor / shirt maker for shirts…

Hi. Has anyone used an online tailor to get custom made work shirts?

I measure 16.5 inches around the neck and 40 inches around the chest, which means that if I choose an off-the-shelf shirt by neck size the sleeves are long and the body is loose, and if I choose by body size then I can’t do up the neck!

I figured an online shirt maker would be the answer, but there are dozens of them! Anybody have any recommendations or ones to avoid?

    Thanks!

Some of the ones I’ve found below, just for the curious.

Have a look at the new Slim Fit Windsor shirt that TM Lewin are doing. I’m 17.5 collar and 38″ sleeves and all their shirts were mahoosive around the waist. The Slim Windsor looks like it was made for me. At least worth a try in one of their branches.

Just choose slim-fit shirts, usually fine i’ve found from most retailers.

Alternatively, marks & spencer do a made-to-measure service, IIRC.
