More smidge. Though only ever used it for midges and ticks, though think the blurb says it works on mozzies as well.

Last week in Greece I forgot to take Smidgen so ended up using THIS which worked quite well.

I still got bitten a few times but my o/h who wasn’t using anything got eaten alive.

Anything with DEET will work fine. It just depends on whether you like the delivery system – lotion, gel, roll-on, spray, whatever.

DEET is readily absorbed and comes out in your urine for 48 hours after application so if you don’t like that idea, try the good old Avon Skin-so-Soft Woodland Fern oil-based perfume spray. I believe this works by masking your exhaled CO2 and body odour. Avon want to drop it but can’t because it sells so well.

Always used Jungle, it’s DEET, it works, it’s cheap and widely available.

I thought the active ingredient in Avon SSS had been dropped a few years ago and it no longer works on mozzies.

Another vote for smidge.
