Screens not the best on my laptop so looking to HDMI up to something better with more accurate colours etc. for when I play about in lightroom/photoshop.

    Budget max £200! Pref less.

I have read LED is good for consistent ‘blacks’ but otherwise completely lost!

    Cheers all

I bought a couple of Samsung 24″ for (office) work, very good but not sure if they are good enough for your work.

Eizo CG class if you want accurate colours, panel uniformity, a wide gamut and internal self calibration.
£200 would only get you a monitor hood though.
Also HDMI is usually less colours than what can be output through Dvi/DVD-d (depending on computer spec)
