Mrs SR is about 5’8″ and slim. About a size 8.

    Criteria for jacket is:

    a) waterproof
    b) windproof
    c) multi-season (in that she could wear a fleece under it, perhaps, and use it in the winter. If not, 3-season would be good.)
    d) cool-looking (a bit subjective, I know, but something more interesting than a simple black anorak)
    e) no more than £150-ish

It’ll be for her birthday. I have seen some nice stuff on Sport Pursuit, but alot of what I have seen has been for men, and I wouldn’t know much about the quality of various labels, and fabrics, etc.

    So… suggestions?

I’m the same height and really rate Rab stuff for its cut. Nice and long both in the body and the arms.

Rab do some great stuff for the ladies! Good cut, good fabrics and normally some nice, non-pink-princess, colours.

    *great minds, wallop!*

Wife and I have got 3 layer gore tex jackets from berghaus. They don’t make them anymore but here is an updated version at a ridiculous price. (you did say not black!)
