    I'm in the market for a flatscreen TV DVD combo. Anyone have any views on what's good and what's not.

    Me too. I'd like to replace our bedroom TV, freeview box and DVD with one unit, ideally 26" but I've not found much that suits.

    It seems to be the realm of the cheap (and therefore nasty?). I've seen a 22" one (Teknicka (sp?)) for £175 in Tescos but it looks a bit shabby. Would happily pay a bit more for a Pana/Samsung/LG/Sony etc assuming the design, plastics etc are better. Call me fussy but it's got to look OK when it's off as well as having a good picture.

    Well, we went TV shopping yesterday and were mightily impressed with all the TVs all of which were showing the BBC HD preview channel.

    On changing them to the "normal" feed all of the cheaper flatscreen TVs looked pants.

    We left empty handed.
