Currently I have a standard heavy 30.9 giant seatpost with 1 1/4" (30mm) offset. its the one part that annoys me on my bike and I want to replace. but with what?
First thought was 2nd hand Thomson. but inline will move my saddle position which isn't a good idea really.
Then I thought about the thomson layback but thats only 16mm offset and whats the distance between where the bend starts and the clamping area? I love lowering my saddle for anything fun looking so it may not be low enough. and i'd have to buy new which is out of my price range.
yes i should find out the weight of my giant one but don't have scales to hand right at this moment.
so I'd like lightish 30.9 x 350mm , 1"+ offset seatpost please. £40 to spend which doesn't mean rrp but actual buying price (sales, general discounts, merlin special deal etc).
