My friend has just passed his gsce Japanese and I would like to buy him a sake to celebrate.

Trouble is I know nothing about sake-anyone able to recommend one that’s easy enough to find in the uk?

Carbonate it in a soda-stream. Makes it awesome, works with cheap wine too.

My suggestion to carbonate sake was serious, it really does make it taste awesome.

Japanese malt whiskeys are often really nice, nikka etc.
