Been taking my daughter swimming and she's now too ambitious for armbands/rings etc. so I am thinking of getting her a float vest, but as she's quite small, it seems like the best type would be one with a crotch strap type thing built it.

Does naybody know of one for a 1 year old. In pink.

I've used a Konfidence life jacket type affair (no strap) and they seem to work just nicely.. Slowly remove the floats and they have to work a little harder each time till it's a wet suit top!

Our 18 month old is a Victorian bathing suit look a like with floats sewn in – it's given him so much confidence that he won't stay in our arms in the pool now and strikes off by himself.Think they are in JojJoMamanBebe, but we picked it up at NCB sale I think for next to nothing.

cheers – I'm after a vest as we're going on hols and she has a few uv protection swim suit things, just want something to go over the top.

Was there any concerns with the vest coming up over your kids head (hence why i'd like a strap)?
