For Mr & Mrs Pogo and Little Master Pogo. Ideally with a beach nearby but not essential.
    Thanks in advance.

Any of these properties are great, fantastic views from the log cabin.

Yes I realise that, we are prepared to travel, I’ve only ever worked in Wales through the week then back home at weekends, so I haven’t had time to fully enjoy what Wales has to offer, so anywhere coastal really, the wife and son like the beach and then we’ll see what happens, we like exploring!

We stayed here a few years ago. Pub up the road, beach with shop/cafe/chippy walkable. Pretty cheap if I recall.

You can’t beat this place for the big kid in you….

Has it’s own request stop on the Ffestiniog Steam Railway, is 15 mins drive to Coed-y-Brenin, and 15 mins to the Black Sands beach (drive-on).
Had 2 holidays there now, and can’t recommend it highly enough! Oh – the owners’ son is a mountain biker too, and aledgedly has built some jumps up on the hillside…..

Pros: Lovely place, in the middle of a wood, with a mile drive through the woods on unmade roads. And literally surrounded by MTB trails – they actually go right around the cottage. 1 mile from the beach, 1mile from a decent pub with good food.

Cons: The owners seem to hate MTBers. They have objected to said trails being built through the woods (despite being a great marketing tool for attracting guests) and do their best to frustrate any further work. I’m sure that they’d hate it if you took your muddiest bike and cleaned it in the front room of the cottage, perhaps losing a muddied, sweaty glove somewhere that it can really pong……..

A bit odd going on holiday to Swansea as well. Gower – hell yes. Swansea – I’m not so sure.

Hey, it’s lovely here in Swansea. At the moment I would swear blind that it looks and feels like the South of France…….. 😆

I know, I’m there too! I’m still not sure I’d go on holiday to Clyne Woods though.
