Have a £10 water stones voucher… Maybe something on epic routes or tours in Europe?

I quite liked Dave Byrne’s “The Bicycle Diaries”. It’s all tales from when he was touring with The Talking Heads. He used to bring a folding bike with him and cycle around all the cities he was in. It’s not exclusive to Europe, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

The best cycling book I’ve read for a while is Faster by Michael Hutchinson, not epic and very geeky but a great read.
The Secret Race by Tyler Hamilton is very good too if you have any interesting in road riding from the Lance era.

My favourite is The flying Scotsman.
    ‘A rough ride’ is superb.

    After that.

    The Escape Artist
    The Death of Marco Pantani
    The Rider
Bad Blood (read this if you want to find out what Lance is really like)

Heroes, villains and Velodromes is a really good read! A fascinating insight into the rise and rise of Team GB from Boardman being put on the plane to the Olympics, with no mechanic or team of any description, to the force it is now.
