For a new XT M8000 rear shifter/mech – I just put a basic Clarks outer and shifting is OK but not great. It feels that there is too much friction.

It’s the first time I run a frame (Commencal Meta HT) with full lenght outer so maybe something a bit better should be used ?

There used to be sealed systems a few years back, not sure if they still exist ?

I usually get a ten metre length of sp41 where ever I can find it cheapest.

Just buy it off the reel for a good few metres to last you a while. Cable cutter, job done.

Any ptfe lined outer will do. I use the coated inner aswell

After a recommendation on here, I bought an uberbike kit – I like!

Sp41 for me, Amazon was cheapest last time I looked (a reel, not per meter for me)
