I’m the guy that fatgit Steve mentioned.
I too didn’t like the bronson it was too cumbersome for my kind of trail use.
On the other hand the solo felt brilliant immediately. Two others in the group on the demo felt exactly the same and are currently softening up their respective spouses.
The solo is poised and stable. Climbs better than my blur lt and descends better than the heckler. It’s 24.9 lb with a dropper seatpost.
Smoother than my 26ers and far more nimble than my Niner RIP 9.
Take a test ride. Three guys who work in stif have bought them…non have a bronson.
