Mk1 MX5 with a turbo or supercharger fitted.

I'm not a good passenger. A lad took me out in a mkl one once. It scared me is not the words I'd describe carefully..I was very aware that if the car rolled we would have been beheaded instantly.

Hora – a bit of danger makes you feel alive 😉
but you can get Roll bars for them – TR Lane (do bars for MX5s and TVRs) Uk based. or Harddog bars imported from the US by performance5.

    in terms of a TVR.

feel slightly effeminate or play golf: get a Chimaera
have an over abundance of chest hair and have a petchant for wearing gold medalian necklaces get a Griffith 500

money no object – 4.2 AJP Cerbera red rose.

have a bat cave under the mansion – Sagaris (in Moonraker black, with black leather interior.)

Is a v12 AMG Merc not fun enough for you?

It'd have to be a proper track rollcage though. Not those fancy chrome hoops that you see on many of them- that also carry a disclaimer.

I mentioned this on a MX5 forum once, basically what I see as the MX5's Achilles heel. If you flip etc the car you are at a real risk of street furniture killing you (yes its a convertible) but also the screen-height etc compared to many modern convertibles isnt the safest for 6ft drivers is it?

yip both are bars that are similar to the FIA bar you get on Caterhams.
4 point rollbar thats bolted to the structural points of the car.
    TR Lane

    Hard Dog.

there are other styles from both.

while not as safe as a full 6 point cage that the race 5s have, it is more usable, since a 6 point cage would stop you having a roof

Julian – what a great sounding event. Did you go there last year? Why not start a thread discussing the event. Some people might be interested to know it is back on this year for the weekend of August 21/22nd
