I’m looking for somewhere in the south of our Island, Devon, Cornwall or possibly over in Pembrokeshire. I want a beach and a pub or town within walking distance and don’t want to use a car other than getting there.

This is a short notice break for me and my daughter, I have all the camping gear but any BB recommendations happily received too.

Eype in Dorset?

I stayed here last summer, it’s really nice, elevated views, the beach (pebble beach) is right there, like 1 minute from the entrance!

There are a pub and a hotel bar just up the road, there is a nice walk along the coast to West Bay, Bridport is within walking distance too. There is a lovely garden cafe the opposite way up the coast path.

The site is small and friendly, with small shop, nice showers.

Highly recommended.
