Can anyone recommend an ultra-fine balaclava that I can wear under a helmet? I have a Helly Hanson one, but my helmet is a snug fit and won’t accommodate the balaclava as well.

I’ve got a couple of Helly Hansen Dry Fits, not sure what yours are, but mine are about as thin as you’ll get.

+1 buff, I like the merino one’s.
One round your neck, pulls up round your mouth / ears and if its really cold one on your head, pirate or seik stylie.

I use a fleece headband as it still allows heat loss through the top of my head but keeps my ears warm. I overheat with anything else.
