Devon would also be grand, though I know Exmoor and barnstaple areas well.

Back at Easter we walked the coast path from Bude to Boscastle & then on day 2 Boscastle to Port Isaac then got the bus back to Bude – stunning views but over 2400 steps to climb on the second leg!
Not a huge amount of biking – Exmoor on the other hand has loads of it.

Treyarnon Bay. The Youth Hostel there is awesome, right on the cliffs. Loads of campsites round there too, not far from Padstow for food and the Camel Trail for those family rides.
