    My eldest will soon be wanting to go online and use the computer – i’d like to add some family filtering to save his innocence, has anyone got any recommendations for decent (preferably free!) kid filters?

    +1 for opendns. It can be defeated but not until he is older and it will work for all of the devices in the house playstation, iphones etc
