Got a full day looming in a few weeks and want a big ride that is better/different to a full day int dark peak.

Mary Townley loop sounds ok, whats it like?

Any other suggestions – max 1hr drive from the Peak

better than the peak only an hour away? Think you’ll struggle! You could get to bits of the Yorkshire dales in a bit over an hour at less busy times. Or north wales, near the border.

thinking an all dayer – 40-60 miles

Just want somewhere different, lots of ups and downs, rocks, fun, fast

dales is all there is really – maybe ride ilkley moor stuff and then do stainburn, or dalby with an extension over the north York moors.
