Got a nice Spyder jacket a few years ago as a gift. Worn it loads and like it but looking for a slightly shorter jacket for upcoming trip to Swiss Alps.
Any suggestions, I only ski on piste and feel the cold ideally spending <£300.
    Thanks

If you’re in London, try the Patagonia shop on Langley St, Covent Garden. Seriously nice stuff, and as the place is closing down, 40% off. Which brings the prices from eye-watering, to just common-or-garden expensive. eg £490 for a shell jacket to £294.

If you want a short, mountineerytype cut, you’ll probably find their mostly shells. No bad thing, just layer up underneath.

Have a look at the Mountain Equipment Changabang. Arcteryx have a few shorter jackets. £££, but quality.

Patagucci closing down you say? Time for a visit, I think…!
