   Morning All

   Now the decking is finished its time to turn my attention to getting a shed sorted out.

   I'm want a 10 x 6 pent roof shed with the door on one of the 6ft ends and the roof going length ways low to high.

   I want the high end at the back of the shed as thats where the bikes will be stored. Im still not sure if using hooks for the front wheels or prongs to have one over the other is the best so will fiddle once the sheds built.

   Has anyone used a company for this before and if so can they recomend one thats good?

   Build it yourself

   Not cheap, i did a playhouse for my kids, (smallish shed size 2m x 2.4m)

   Cant remember exact cost but it was over £200 just for the timber.

   I looked into a self build however the cost of the wood rolled in at around £550. Add onto that another £100 give or take for fixtures and fittings, felt, glass etc, not having the time to build it and the increase in crappy weather etc.

   For £5-600 all in for a ready built jobby which can be put together over a weekend its a much more convenient option.

   I paid £300 for a 5' x 9' with a wide door & no windows, to store a motorbike in, but that was 10yrs ago. A company in Hednesford, near Cannock Chase.

   Crane sheds are bespoke but pricey with it. I'd have one if I could afford it!

   Stayhigh I think you may struggle to get what you want at that price. Wood is not cheap these days and it is kind of an odd design you are looking for - not many people want the front the lower end as if it is raining it could be like walking through a waterfall to get to the door.

   This shed from tiger sheds almost ticks all the boxes. But they have haeps of other designs that you may find better suited. I went for the Apex security one and it took an afternoon to put it up, for the price Tiger are hard to beat, the quality is good but the 12mm thick wood is not as thick as some other places use.

   One other thing, how often do you use the bikes? if you shove them at the back of the shed it could get quite annoying trying to cary them over lawnmowers, BBQ's, gsrden furnature and the like each time you want ot go for a ride.

   The high end's not going to be that much higher than the low end, is it? And bikes aren't over big

   Might be better going for something like the Tiger shed above even though it doesn't quite fit what you're looking for. Spend the cash you save on bespoke on security?

   I've been looking at Tiger Sheds pent sheds, seems very good for the money. There wont be a great deal in front of the bikes tbh, garden is all decking so no tools for that and furniture stays out all year.

   Three adult bikes and a kids one will be stored in it along will general bike stuff, spares accumalted junk etc. I wanted the extra height at the back to allow for them to be stored upright to save space.

   I'd already considered the rain factor which would be resolved with some guttering and a bucket. Not overly elegant granted but effective.

   Security is an entirely different bucket of crabs and I'll come to asking lots of dumb questions about that nearer the time
