Looking to build up a hard hitting single ring play bike in the near future. What do you guys ride around 160 – 180 ish travel ? Pics would be a bonus, Cheers

Intense Slopestyle would fit the bill nicely, and the original version can be had 2nd hand for pretty reasonable money. SX Trail would also be good. Ridden both and like both – own the Slopestyle though 😉

Transition blindside test rode one the other week, nice and active and just soaks everthing up, gains stupid amounts of speed pumping the trails and flys well to.

Joe Barnes was on a prototype Patriot at Inners at the weekend. Very, very nice; not out until next year however.

Was he? It was running dual crowns, I’d just taken it for a 224.

Aye, we were speaking to him. It was like a 224 with a Five swing arm.

Cool… I suppose they had to take the Patriot in a new direction with the Alpine filling its old shoes a bit. So is it going to be that mini DH bike that everyone’s been asking for?

Looks like it, 180mm travel and he said it was perfect at the weekend (tight rooty course).

Transition TR250? New Bottlerocket out in July I think too.

A TR250 would be perfect but the price is too high i would guess
