Any ideas? Ideally one that sits on ‘box type’ roof rails…thanks

    I’ve been considering this:
    Buy a shagged/ cheap hub.
Clamp it to the front bar.
    Attach bike.
Rest rear wheel on rear bar, tie down with bungies, or a big zip tie.

Thule is the only one I know of.

    561: http://www.thule.com/en/gb/bike-rack/roof-bike-racks/thule-outride-561-_-561000

Comes with 20mm adapter but you have to buy a 15mm one extra.

Thule 565, fits every axle from QR with the supplied adapter to 110mm boost and no doubt fat bikes too

I have two of these and can’t fault them.

Very solid mounts with no movement.

Any (of the 2) Thule fork racks. For bonus points, avoid buying their overpriced hunk of metal and ask someone to make you a 15mm adapter.

I’ve got a 561 which works well, but it didn’t fit my 20mm lyriks without a generous application of metal file and with the 15mm adapter it fits my Yari’s but they don’t rest at a position where you can slide the maxxel in, you’ve got to lift them – easy enough but a bit faffy.

Given the money they want for a simple tube to make them 15mm the 565 looks a better bet.
