I need your suggestions for a rear tyre smaller than a 29″ 2.3 minion DHR II because it turns out thats too big for the ripley and hits the seat tube on full compression.

I would still like something relatively agressive but i guess its got to be 2.2ish and less volume than the minion.

Wider rim would mean the tyre had less ‘depth’?

Although I’d find out first how much ‘depth’ you’ve to play with – ie remove air from shock and manually see.
