  • Rear suspension bushings advice.

    There is some play developing in my rear suspension and my lbs say the bushings are going and i will need a kit from Trek. Apparently these are expensive and a bit of a bugger to fit.
    The bike is an Top Fuel 8. Any advice on where to get it done cheaper.

    buy some 1/2 inch du bushings (if its a Fox) from a bearing supplier- about £1.50 each and fit use a socket to push out the old one then push in a new one, a vice helps here, I’m not aware of a cheap supplier for top hats tho but betd do steel one if you want long lasting

    I think he means the suspension bushing (treks have bushings not bearings I think) not the shock eyelet bushing.
