Can anyone tell me if all rear mech hangers are frame specific. I need one for my Merlin Malt 1 08 frame. Merlin charge £18 for a replacement whci seems a bit steep considering what it is! Any ideas?

£18 is about the going rate. There are around 120 different hanger designs so although there are a few out there which are cheaper it is a long shot they will be the shape you need.
