if you really want to be noticed on the road you could always go for the 500 lumen rear light C&B Seen

I think that may be a step too far 🙁
Cateye Hand Grenade or Moonshield60 are winning at the moment.

Currently running a Lumicycle Tail One as my “always on” rear light cos it runs off the same bottle battery as my front Lumi. (mounted up under my saddle, motorbike-style)

And of course a CatEye Holy Handgrenade which I’ve had for years and is still going strong. Changed that to a belt clip and mounted it on my bag as my flasher.

Considering adding a Fibre Flare too – but a lot of reviews do seem to criticise the water sealing which is no good for me as I commute in all weathers.

I’ve always got on well with the Cateye cyclon lights… Nothing spectacular, possibly overpriced, but they’ve never done anything wrong either- good solid quick release clamp, waterproof enough (they’re not immersion-proof but they’re Scotland-proof), better visibility than most…

only issue is that it is AA battery not rechargeable.

    Umm use rechargeable batteries
