My rear freehub is starting to die, but i’m having trouble finding a freehub body to replace it.
The bike is a 26″ 2013 Trek Fuel EX6 and the hub is a Formula DC22 LW.
Does anyone know if any other freehub bodies are compatible?

The main issue is that the Formula importer doesn’t deal with hubs, so they have to come in via bike manufacturers. Any Trek dealer should be able to lay their hands on one within a couple of days if they haven’t got one in stock.

Thanks for that. I was kinda hoping someone on here with a Trek fuel had replaced a freehub body.
I also hoped that a standard Shimano 10 speed freehub body would be compatible?
I think i hope for too much 🙂

Probably, if you have no luck locally, give us a call at Sunset, we’ve uusually got a selection of them in stock.Worth checking the rest of the hub is ok before buying one, we often find rusty cups & cones inside, and a swap to a Deore 525 is quite cost effective if you can build wheels, and easy to pick up spares for in the future.

Thats a great help – thanks.
One query though – isn’t the Deore 525 a quick release hub?
My Trek has a through axle.

Ok, won’t have one of those in stock for a through axle, be qicker and cheaper to get one locally.
