Anyone any experience of above? In particular a comparison in size to tyres I’m familiar with (mainly Maxxis) Advantage/ Ardent in 2.25 flavour or the old and titchy 2.35 sizes?

    Thanks in advance

MK 2.2 seems similar girth to an old Maxxis 2.35 HR or Minion if that helps?

If it’s any help the MK2 2.2 is about standard for a 2.2 tyre. The RQ 2.2 on the other hand is 2.2 wide but has a much bigger volume then the MK2. The 2.4 RQ is huge by comparison with other makes.

Sounds like the RQ 2.2 is similar to say advantage then in terms of volume?

    Just measured mine:

Maxxis ADvantage 26×2.25 on ZTR Arch EX Tubeless @ 25 psi = 55mm

    Conti X-King RaceSport 26×2.20 on ZTR Crest Tubeless @ 25 psi = 54.5mm

I find the Mountain Kings Mk2 pretty skinny TBH – nearer my Specialized Captains 2.0 – wish i’d bought the 2.4s.
