The tape on the seams of my fox converting jacket thingy (you know, waterproof arms and yoke zip off leaving softshell gilet) has mostly come off in the sleeves. It is all still there (held in by under-arm stitching) but flapping away uselessly.

Can I just iron it back on? I had a look at a couple of outdoorsy sites and it seems as though that’s what you do (veeeeerrrrryyyy ccaaaarrrefuulllly!) with new tape anyway.

The jacket is pretty good with the odd application of spray proofing and so I thought it might be a worthwhile thing to do with a tueday evening on call for work.

Your experiences and advice please.
