    Been thinking about doing this:

London – Edinburgh, 400 miles in 2 days. Two consecutive double centuries would be a fair challenge.

Anyone done it before? Anything similar that’s worth considering? I can’t help but think things like La Marmotte would end up costing more / taking more time with travel / hotels etc.

    Opinions?

I was very tempted until is read it was £200!

Rather make a holiday of it and ride the Etape/Marmotte etc…

If you register to raise money for Cancer Research and raise £500 you get £50 off, so £150.

I guess it’s still quite spendy in a way. It’s quite a good one in terms of not taking up too much time away from the family. I’m guessing a pass for La Marmotte / Etape would be harder to come by 🙁

For not much more, you can do it twice:

Don’t think I’d get away with 5 days of cycling 🙁
