Anyone seen or used one of these?
Need to replace my gravity dropper and these will work out at pretty much the same price but offer 9 (nine) inches of drop.
Will probably give it a punt anyway but would be good to hear any reports

Haven't used any other types to compare but...
mechanically simple, long spring round a roller & a pin into notches every half inch or so up the shaft. hard to see what could go horribly wrong
length of travel is good, doesn't get "right" down into the frame on lowest, but not bad at all. It does lift fast - watch your bollocks! (or your fingers if you're holding it out of the frame)
a little bit of play in it, from new, maybe a couple of degrees either side. presumably you're used to that as I think they all do - it's very mechanical play, with a hard stop at each side of the movement. mine hasn't got any worse but haven't ridden that much
sealing is a potential problem - there's a big groove running down the front of the post that can't really be protected by a wiper seal so you do need the neoprene cover. I also sprayed chainsaw oil into mine - the ded sticky stuff (which has slowed the travel a bit but still OK).
saddle clamp is not great unless they've altered it on newer models (keep meaning to emailo comments to them). not a lot of tilt - mine's on fully "back" just to get the saddle level on a trance (suppose if your bike is slacker the saddle can point up more). clamp also is single bolt & relies on interference to stop saddle angle slipping (no grooves cut into it etc) I've blocked mine with a bodge although it only slipped once in use
the shim for different seat tube sizes is actually an integral fixed part of the post, not a separate part.
actual weight-bearing "post" is relatively thin, unsure of absolute strength (remember it's not cylindrical, has a machined groove in it) but haven't bent it yet
