    Are they taking the piss?

BT – says £20 for 6 months then £26, enter details and its £32.74 (76Mb)
Plusnet – £3.99 for 6 months then £14.99, enter details and its £11.49 then £22.49 (and only 35Mb available it appears)

Are they allowed to falsely advertise these rates to draw you in? Why the extra cost – can’t see anything on the web pages.

Doesn’t exactly instill me with confidence or make me want to remain/become a customer

Are they quoting the phone line on top? Often the headline rate is for the broadband but then you have to take a landline also…

Yeah landline is seperate to the above and all at £15.99. That at least seems to be a constant (well except BT who say there’s is going up in December 🙄 )

Yep, saw the BT infinity deal today. Free for 6 months!!!! Except that you pay for the box, installation and line rental which equates to well over £100
