    Hi Guys and Girls,

In August I'm going to be doing the Sleepless in the Saddle 24hr race and I'll be doing it for the National Association Crohn's and Colitis Disease. I'll be doing SITS Solo for the first time and looking at raising £2000.

I'm doing this on behalf of my friend Steph Robinson

For those of you that know Steph Robinson you'll know a little more about why I'm raising money for the National Association for Crohn's and Colitis but for those that don't. Steph has Ulcerative Colitis which is a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) This is a horrible disease that has been on ocassions life threatening with regular trips to the hospital. Steph will never fully recover from this disease as there is no cure. She has to take pills everyday sometimes upto 30; many of which have nasty side effects, e.g damaging other vital organs……. it is a vicious circle and difficult to manage. Steph is brilliant and puts on a brave face.

As I'm sure you can understand having to watch someone close to you suffer without being able to do anything about it is very hard so this is why I'm attempting to do Sleepless in the Saddle 24hr Mountain Bike Race Solo, for Steph and everone else that suffers with this debilitating disease.

Lastly Thank you! please give what you can it'll mean alot to Steph and everyone else with IBD.

Please join my group on Facebook and donate on my Just Giving page, you can also follow my training and any other races I do in between on my Blog.
