A friend of mine bought a Planet X Lynskey made frame on the cyclescheme. £817.38 new, he's going to pay around £500 for it, brand new. That sir, IS a bargain!

lot of frame for the money,
there is one on ebay, same price as well, through another bike shop,
not that surprising, youve already pointed out that he would have got it at trade so is not making a loss on it. Takes the shine of the "bargain" status.
Second hand frame, no warrranty. And way more than trade price. Not that attractive.
Bargain in this case is just a word with no meaning.
