I've been riding one of the prototypes for 12 months or so now, having had a Scandal before that.
What do you want to do with it? If you're after something that gets you from a to b across hill and dale very, very quickly, I can't think of anything faster or more capable.
If you want it to fly along twisty singletrack and prove that 29ers CAN be nimble, this is the bike for you.
If you want to race on it, 24 hour racing, XC racing, whatever, it's also spot-on.

Riding rigid offroad isn't for everyone, but I've ridden mine countless times all day (and all day and night a few times) and I'm not dead.

I did a bit of research – twinklydave was very informative. Phil at http://skills-guiding.co.uk/ has one and was very helpful (and I suppose more independent as not sponsored rider). Also negative space on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/negativespace/ has one and gave great feedback.
