Evening, I’ve fitted my RADr cage successfully, but what are the two small black studs for that came loose in the packet?

Also, with the cage fitted the chain is very slack when on the 11T cog:

Could I lose a couple of links? Here is the setup when on the 40T cog:

It all works fine on the stand, by the way.

The studs go between the cages.
There’s two threaded holes in the out cage.
Let all the air out of your shock and compress the back end fully then see how short you can make the chain. Looks like you can go a bit tighter but just check when the bikes compressed.

Just looking at your first pic.

You sure you have the spring assembled correctly?

The cage should pull back much further than that.

Right, all sorted. Stu, you were right, I had not got the spring correctly in place. Thank you very much for your help. Now to go ride the thing and see if it was worth it over the stock Zee mech…

Definitely improved the shifting on my XT mech, I do need to lose a couple of links from the chain though. Great little addition

Stop buying own brand greek yoghurt.

Total is Greece’s favourite for a reason!

Flippin’ runny nonesense. If you can turn the pot up and it runs out, it aint greek.
