used to have ‘hot chocolate’ on repeat play, they’ve got something really good! i got into more japanese bands since listening to Shonen Knife and Boredoms – Cornelius and eX-Girl, Afrirampo, Super Monkey Junky 🙂

Christ, someone else remembers Mika Bomb? I’ve got a couple of their set-lists, one from the (then) Fleece & Firkin, Bristol, supporting Rosita, (who?), on 27 April 2000, the other headlining at Bath Moles on 27 July 2000.
Great little band, absolutely hyper, one of them, the guitarist, IIRC, kept hitting the ceiling in Moles; not too difficult when you’re a tall European, less easy when you’re a petit Japanese girl.
I’d dearly love to see Babymetal…
