I'm looking for a rear rack mount light, and so far all I can find is this

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=32283

Which is out of stock, and a silly priced German thing at £20+

Any other options you know of please?

(Don't tell me to use a seatpost mount. In this case it's simply not possible, and the seatstays are covered with panniers!)

cateye sell a rack mount that can be used with their lights. i'm using it with the 'holy hand grenade' light. available from any good bike shop.

Using a standard Smart 1/2W on my rack. You can fit most things to one IME

My old tortec rack came with an adaptor to use a standard cateye bracket but i now use the Cateye bracket to mount my AU100 on my new Tubus rack.

Yeah, mine too. Brilliant aren't they?

Sadly my rack has broken and the newer Tortecs (Like Mrs PPs) don't have the same mount, and I also need to put a light on her Mum's new shopper bike – The seat sits at the same level as the rack, hence the 'no seatpost mount' clause above! 🙂
