    Thinking about getting a workstand as it would make life that bit easier.

    Seen the "race" workstands clamp front fork and bottom bracket rather than clamping to frame or seatpost.

    Anyone used one and got some feedback.

    i think the main difference is that you have a slightly more fiddly clamping mechanism but you get a benefit in that it packs down smaller for portability. if you don't need to transport it just get a normal one.

    http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/ws-100-workstand-3960349/I got something similar from decathlon that cups the BB and has a arm that straps the downtube down, the front wheels stoped from floping about by two arms.

    Works perfectly and only £30. Only thing i cant do with it is paint a frame, but short of an expensive one that clamps the seatpost and still holds it securely, nothigns going to help with that.
